Hoboken's bwè kafe is currently showing a photography exhibit, "Images of Haifa & Akko", by Gil Muro.
Gil made his first visit to Haifi in 1975 and has witnessed the development and beautification of Mount Carmel over thirty plus years and a ten journeys. He was recently invited to Haifa to oversee and direct the stage lighting for a convention attended by 2,000 people from 160 countries. This exhibit is composed of photos taken during his visit. The images will continue to be on display at bwè kafe until September 7th.
This Sunday, August 18th, at 7:50am on WNBC-TV Channel 4, Gil will speak live about the exhibit and invite those interested to meet with him at 12:00 noon on Sunday at bwè and answer any questions they might have about the exhibit.
