I've always considered Hoboken to be New York's unofficial sixth borough. After all, great restaurants and trendy boutiques can just as easily be found along the tree-lined streets of Hoboken as in Soho. Less traffic, better value and a more relaxed vibe are among the benefits of these local gems.
Being a fashion journalist, and Features Editor of a popular Manhattan magazine, I always have my eye on the hottest seasonal trends, and purchases which are worth your money.
I recently traveled to warmer climates in an attempt to jump-start the spring and summer seasons. Before going on this vacation, I was sure to visit some of my favorite Hoboken boutiques, to see what styles would make their way into my DVF luggage.
Here are a few styles that I wanted to share with the Life in Hoboken readers. Sit back, relax, take a sip of your iced skinny vanilla latte, and let's go on a tour of some of my fave fashions around town.
My first stop was Dor L' Dor located at 413 Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ.
Next fashionista stop -- Dear Hannah located at 503 Washington Street.
