Two deer seem to have made a home in Hoboken, NJ on the Palisades Cliffs. New York City is less than 1.5 miles away across the Hudson River.
The deer are near the Hoboken 9th Street / Congress Street Light Rail station.
The Palisades Cliffs are very steep with the New Jersey Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail running along the bottom of the cliffs, and Paterson Plank Road in Jersey City Heights at the top of the cliffs. The Doric Apartment Building, Union City, is on the north side of this section of the Palisades.
It's kind of odd that these deer are here, since this is a very densely populated area. The guess is that the deer traveled from north of the George Washington Bridge, and kept walking south.
